What started out as a storeroom for some of the projects we started, is now a retail location. The store is open on Saturdays, (but sometime we're there on a weekday) or by special appointment. We are located outside of Pittsburgh, in the historic Eldersville Elementary School in Eldersville PA. There are many additional items that you will not find offered on the website.
The Plastic Pendulum is not your typical vintage and antique shop. With our unique twist on nostalgia and a keen eye for quality, we find items that transcend time. Our mission is to bring the charm and character of the past into the modern world. Each item we sell is carefully inspected before offered for sale. We make every effort to tell you as many details to help you decide to purchase an item from us.
From sourcing to delivery, we make a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint. We actively use many forms of post consumer waste to package and ship the item you buy. So don't be surprised if your item shows up in a re-used Amazon box.
